During the proceedings of the Capital University Council, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of Capital University, affirmed that the establishment of the new hospital represents one of the most important strategic projects currently adopted by the university. The project aims to support the healthcare, educational, and research systems both within and beyond the university.
The new hospital is envisioned as an integrated medical and educational hub that includes a modern university hospital, specialized centers across various medical disciplines, advanced research laboratories, and medical training halls. This comprehensive setup provides a practical learning environment for students of the Faculties of Medicine and Health Sciences. The complex also comprises primary healthcare units, emergency departments, and operating rooms equipped with the latest medical technologies. It has been designed in accordance with the most up-to-date international standards to ensure high-quality medical services for students, faculty members, and the local community.
The hospital further enhances the educational process by offering hands-on training opportunities for students of medicine, nursing, and pharmacy, thereby improving their professional competencies. In addition, it serves the community by providing advanced healthcare services to residents of the surrounding areas and alleviating pressure on public hospitals. The project also supports scientific research by enabling researchers to conduct medical studies and experiments in a well-equipped environment, strengthening the university’s position in the field of medical research. Overall, the project reflects the university’s vision of becoming a leading educational institution that integrates academic excellence with community service.
During the Capital University Council meeting, the media team (Helwan +) presented a comprehensive marketing plan aimed at highlighting the importance of the new hospital as a historic landmark for the future of healthcare and education in Egypt. The plan outlined the urgent need for this project, which represents a qualitative leap in the provision of medical, educational, and research services. It contributes to supporting the healthcare system and reinforces the university’s status as a leading center for preparing qualified medical professionals, in addition to its role in serving the local and regional community by providing an advanced therapeutic and educational environment that aligns with global standards.
The media team also confirmed that the plan includes the implementation of a mural titled “The Immortals: Those Who Contributed to Building the Future of Healthcare in Egypt,” as well as dedicated wings featuring contributions from students of all academic cohorts, university alumni, public figures, and ministers, under the slogan “Giving Builds the Future,” enabling them to become partners in this medical and civilizational transformation
