A delegation from the University of Sapienza, Italy at Helwan University

Helwan University hosted a delegation from the University of Sapienza, Italy, as part of efforts to enhance international collaboration. The visit included a specialized workshop for students and researchers focused on obesity-related diseases and their prevention strategies.

During their visit, the delegation toured the Faculty of Medicine, where they were welcomed by Professor Dr. Rasha Refai, Dean of the Faculty, and Professor Dr. Samah Bastawy, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

The delegation conducted a comprehensive tour of the faculty’s various departments, expressing their admiration for the facilities and commending the high standards of equipment and infrastructure available at the faculty.

The Italian delegation comprised distinguished faculty members, including Dr. Lucio Ginetti, Dr. Eleonora Poggiaglia, Dr. Germina Jennifer Peron, Dr. Shandra Miti, Dr. Elena Gangbatao, and Dr. Igor Vasilev Vital.
