Activities of the Student Exchange Program – The Student Scientific Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Helwan University (Exchange Program)

As part of the Faculty of Medicine, Helwan University's commitment to supporting scientific activities and distinguished training programs, and within the framework of the Student Exchange Program organized by the Student Scientific Association of the Faculty of Medicine (HMSA) at Helwan University, and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Rasha Refai, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chair of the Hospitals Board, the participating students continued their training program today, which included:
- Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Unit.
- Obstetrics and Gynecology Procedures.
- Gynecology Clinic.
- Cardiac Echo Clinic.
The program involved students from France, Italy, Romania, Portugal, Morocco, and Tunisia, with the aim of enhancing academic and cultural cooperation among medical students from different countries around the world.
At the end of the training day, Professor Dr. Rasha Omar Refai, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, met with the students, where she welcomed them to the Helwan University Hospitals and emphasized the ongoing monitoring of the training program. She also highlighted the hospital's commitment to providing a distinguished educational and training environment that enhances students' skills and refines their experiences, helping to prepare medical professionals capable of competing globally.
The meeting was attended by:
- Professor Dr. Mohamed Ezzat – Acting Director of Badr University Hospital.
- Dr. Nada El-Demiaty – Director of Outpatient Clinics at Badr University Hospital.
- Dr. Marwan Abu Bakr – Student Activities Coordinator, Faculty of Medicine.
